Enjoy a quick tour of Yellowstone National Park, including shots of erupting geysers, steaming hot springs, Old Faithful, roaming buffalo herds, and a herd of elk grazing and enjoying a riverside. A full rack elk struts his stuff near the herd. Videos were taken in late fall when the air was very crisp and cool. A favorite shot is of a fly fisherman casting in the river next to a grazing elk.
Nice Little Buffalo. Buffalo own the road in Yellowstone. This one stopped to look in our car as it passed by. A few minutes before I took this video a car tried to push a buffalo off the road. A not-too-happy buffalo chased after the car and tried to ram it. The driver stepped on the gas and got away just in time.

Yellowstone in the winter presents quite a different side than most visitors typically see during the summer months. Geysers and Buffalo stick out in sharp contrast to the white of the snow.
These bison were located in the northern part of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This is an area called Lamar Valley where the buffalo are often seen rolling around in the dirt. The Bison often cause traffic jams in the park.
A buffalo walking right towards me in Yellowstone. Scary since he was bigger than a minivan and I was just remembering the video of the guy getting tossed to the top of a tree for getting too close to a buffalo in Yellowstone.
